THE FIRST DEAF STUDENT TO GRADUATE FROM LAW SCHOOL IN GHANA

Juventus Duorinaah has become the first deaf student to graduate from law school in Ghana. He pursued a four-year degree program in Law from the University of Ghana and has finally graduated with second class.

Juventus Duorinaah who is the Executive Director at Ghana National Association of the Deaf had his basic education and his secondary education in Ghana. Later, he proceeded to the University of Ghana to obtain a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Sociology and minored in Political Sciences. Later, he enrolled in the School of Law and Politics at Cardiff University to study Human Rights Law.

He aspires to become a qualified Human Rights Lawyer one day. His aim is to, rather than engaging in advocacy, engage in strategy litigation to advance the Rights of Persons with Disability.

WCARS send its congratulations with his graduation and wishes him all the best.
